Herschel Apple

Herschel Apple, 75 of Keyesport, died Friday, February 18 in Breese Nursing Home after a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of the Keyesport area, he was a retired farmer.
Born in Irishtown township in Clinton County, September 25, 1907, his parents were the late Lewis and Charlottie (Woods) Apple. He never married.
Surviving are a brother, Bert of Keyesport and sister, Lovina Lyons of Huey.
There will be no funeral services or visitation.
The cremated remains will be interred in Duncan cemetery near Keyesport.
Zieren-Day Funeral Home, Carlyle, is in charge of the arrangements.
