Mrs. Ruby Marie Smith Davis, 82, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2001, at Our Lady of Belfonte Hospital. She was born November 30, 1918, at Wilkinson, a daughter of the late Kennie and Katie Pearl Highley Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Davis, and one daughter, Brenda Davis Scurlock. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one son, Vernon Davis of Lawrenceville, Ga.; two daughters, Dorothy Davis of Kissimee, Fla. and Drema Wilson of Flatwoods, Ky.; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home in Man with Rev. Donald Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery at Horse Pen
