Lorene Bartram, 71, of Hunt, passed away Monday, September 9, 2002, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born June 12, 1931, at Landville, a daughter of the late Cum and Rita Trent Workman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Bartram; three sons, Clayton, Claude Jr., and Clyde Bartram; her step-mother, Gladys Workman; one great-granddaughter, Brandi Proffitt, and six brothers, Oral, Norman and Roger Workman and Walter, William and French Grimmett. Mrs. Bartram was a homemaker, a member of the Jehovah Witness faith and attended the Kingdom Hall at Kistler. Survivors include nine daughters, Shirley (Dave) Thomas and Angeline Gladfelter, both of York, Penn., Delores (Mack) McIntyre of Abbottstown, Penn., Rita (Chris) Stahl of Littlestown, Penn., Niawanna (Richard) Salyers of Hanover, Penn., Deanna Bartram and Lenora Bartram, both of Hunt, Rebecca Stahl of Taylorsville, N.C., and Tina (Kenneth) Osborne of Accoville; five sons, Clinton (Lisa) Bartram and Rev. Cecil (Cindy) Bartram, both of Hunt, Chris (Vicky) Bartram of Greenvalley, Charles (Missy) Bartram of Virginia and Clifford (Mary) Bartram of Accoville; six sisters, Geramae Justice of Greenvalley and Cora Ballard of Auburn, Betty Wright of Hunt, Thelma Trent of Auburn, Melva Workman of Greenvalley and Diana Kilgore of Amherstdale; six brothers, Kenny Workman of Kistler, Harold Workman, Rufus Workman and Robert Workman, all of Hunt, Jerry Workman of Auburn and Johnny Workman of West Virginia; 48 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man with Elder Richard Brunner officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
