Samuel Eichling was christened 5 June 1808 at Hamilton Union Luthern Church in what is today Monroe County. At that time it was Northampton County. He came with his parents to Beaver County in c1813. He married c1834 Isabelle Johnston. They had 10 children. The first children were born in Clinton, Allegheny county. The tenth was born on Locust Grove Farm in 1853 in Beaver County. Samuel was a weaver by trade. Samuel only had one son Charles Emerson Eachel born 1844.
