Kenneth Robert Jones, was born in Wymore, Gage County, Nebraska to Robert S. and Ella (Jones) Jones. He graduated from Wymore High School in 1928. He attended the University of Nebraska of Agriculture in Lincoln for one year and returned to Wymore to farm. He married Martha Ann Humphreys, daughter of John and Anna Roderick Humphreys on July 21, 1932. To this union one child was born. He retired from farming in 1957 and took a job as custodian for the Wymore Public Schools. In 1969 he was forced to retire for health reasons.
