Tobbi S. Allen, 44, of Bartlesville, died early Thursday morning in Tulsa.
Tobbi was born the daughter of Janet Moreland and the late Gary Mitchell on June 22, 1970, in Caney, KS. The family moved to Copan, OK, where she attended and graduated from high school in 1989. While in high school, Tobbi developed a love for working and serving others at Rick's Grocery in Dewey. She then worked with Dr. Eslicker for a few years before becoming the personal assistant to Mrs. Kathleen Mullendore and little Katsy. Tobbi was united in marriage with Kelly Allen and one beautiful daughter Kelsey was born to this union. She then worked several years for the state of Oklahoma, Springs pillow factory and ULTA in Dewey. During the last eight years Tobbi has been in a committed relationship with Gary Link.
Above all else Tobbi loved her family and was a loving mother. She spent countless hours helping others, oftentimes cooking and cleaning for those who couldn't. Tobbi loved animals and rescued many dogs that were abandoned including the love of her life Izzy Mae the cocker spaniel. She loved to garden, raising both flowers and herbs which she often used when cooking for family and friends. She is remembered as being a good person who truly cared for the people, animals and world around her. She will be dearly missed.
Tobbi is survived by her significant other Gary Link of Bartlesville, her mother Janet Moreland of Dewey, one daughter Kelsey Allen of Dewey, one sister Jolynn Mallinger and her husband Joey of Bartlesville, former husband and dear friend Kelly Allen of Dewey, Izzy Mae her cocker spaniel, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Gary Mitchell, maternal grandparents Tine and Perlie Moreland and paternal grandparents Charles and Pat Mitchell.
