James E. Sutherland, 85, of Hesperia, died at Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont, where he was admitted Tuesday night following a heart attack. He was born Nov. 15, 1881, in Hesperia and married the former Mary Walton. She preceded him in death. They had 4 boys, and 2 girls.
His wife, Mary would be my cousin. I remember meeting Mary when I was a little girl.
