Wilmington Morning News: January 1, 1936, Mrs. Charlotte M Parkins 72 years old who died Sunday at her home 408 South Franklin Street will be buried from there this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with interment in Silverbrook Cemetery. Major James Bishop of the Wilmington Salvation Army of which she was a member and Major William Owens of Philadelphia will condue the services. Mrs Parkins came to this country 48 years ago from England and had lived in this city 33 years. She was the widow of Thomas Parkins. She is survived by the following children: Mrs Elizabeth Cox, Mrs Emily White and Ernest A. and Thomas H. all of Wilmington. Edwin J of Malone N.Y. and Mrs Ethel Thompson of Chester PA and 13 Grandchildren.
