ABERCROMBIE, Eugene Dorsey, age 80, passed away September 6, 2014. He was born on October 31, 1933 in Blueridge, Georgia, son of the late William Gerald Abercrombie & Lucy McDonald Abercrombie.
Eugene was a huge Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was employed with Michigan Seamless Tube with 35 years of dedicated service. He was a true family man and loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. He will always be remembered as the rock of the Abercrombie family, especially to his daughter Clare. Eugene is survived by his loving children; Terry Abercrombie, Clare Noffsinger and Darla Bergman, his adoring grandchildren; Damon, Dana (Bobby), Ashley, Cassie (Stephen), and Tammy and his great-grandchildren; Michael, Trevor, Mia, Harmony, Addilyn and Emma. He is also survived by his brother, Gerald (Dorothy) Abercrombie his sister, Shirley (Carl) Harmon and 2 half-sisters and 4 half-brothers. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Lou Abercrombie and his half-brother, Richard.
