Edward N. Abrams, 35, died in Olympia Sept. 9. Services were Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Gardner Funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Steven Taulbee.
An employee of the Washington State Highway Department and a veteran, he was born to Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Abrams Sept.20, 1941 in Yakima, Wash.
He is survived by his widow, Sally of Olympia; two children, Eddie Charles and Amy Dee of Olympia; his adopted parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thornton of Chehalis; his mother, Mrs. Harry French; and his grand-father, Charles Poisel of Union Gap.
