Kenneth Dale Adams, 75, a lifetime Buena Vista area resident, passed away July 1, 2013 in Rushville after a long illness.

He was born January 29, 1938 in Franklin County to Clarence & Jessie (Noah) Adams. He married Barbara Ann Smith on December 7, 1961 and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2002.

Kenny worked many years at Philco Ford in Connersville. He drove a school bus for 17 years and he also farmed. He was a member of the Buena Vista Christian Church & the Rushville Eagles Aire #2036 in Rushville. He was enlisted in the National Guard from 1956-1964.

Kenny is survived by a sister, Linda L. Anderson of Buena Vista, a niece, Terry L. & husband John Bockover of Buena Vista and nephews, Tim Peters of Laurel and Tony Peters of Rushville. He is also survived by several great & great-great nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents & wife, Kenny was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Duane Anderson.

Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, where friends are welcome to visit from noon until time of service on Wednesday. Rev. John Johnson will preside.

Burial will be in the Stipps Hill Cemetery.
