at 11.45 a.m. yesterday at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. Virginia
Steele of Blairsville where
he was visiting, He was born on
Dec. 14, 1882. in Ravenna, N.Y.,
a son of Mr. and Mrs, John
Abrams and on Dec. 23, 1903 in
Birmingham married Lela V.
Brindle who died April 1, 1959.
Surviving are three children ,
Clinton B., and Glenn H., of Tyrone,
and Mrs. Steele, four grandchildren,
and four great grandchildren.
A daughter, Mrs. Dorothy
Dawson of Tyrone died Dec. 7,
1949. He was a member of the
Grace Baptist Church, Tyrone,
a retired power shovel operator
and former employe of the Juniata
Packing Company, Tyrone.
Friends will be received at the
Graham & Getz Funeral Home,
Tyrone after 7 p.m. today.
