Emogene was the daughter and only child of Gailon and Esther (Johnson) Nethercutt. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and son.
She married Harold Taylor, son of Carrol and Lona (Lewis) Taylor, of Paron, Arkansas. They had five children: Son, Travis (deceased), and four daughters, Charlotte, Donna, Vickie, and Sherry.
Her grave is located beside her parents' graves in the Gravel Hill Cemetery adjacent to Gravel Hill Missionary Baptist Church on Hwy. 9, approximately 10 miles south of the Paron community in Saline County, Arkansas.
Harold Taylor (WWII Navy Veteran) and Travis Taylor (Vietnam War Marine Corps Veteran) are interred at the Little Rock National Cemetery.
