Marion C. Benedict was a son of Frank W. and Frankie M. (Hendrick) Benedict.

The funeral services of Marion Benedict, held at St. Johns Episcopal Church, Saturday afternoon were largely attended by friends and schoolmates. The services were conducted by Rev. R. D. Stearns, of St. Johns, and the music was by the church choir. The casket was covered with flowers and was borne by John Hinds, Geo. H. Dye Jr., Bert L. Haight and Richard L. Taylor. Interment was at Highland Park. Relatives present from out of the city were Mrs. G. A. Hendrick, Stanton; Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Goodsell, son and daughter, Fallersburg; D. M. Hendrick and daughters, and Allen Hendrick, Palo; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Hale, Lyons; and Miss Bessie Benedict, Greenville.
