Jesse bought a farm from Lockwood King, Jeduthan King and Jeremiah King in the township of Covert, Seneca Co., NY, two miles east and one half mile north of Trumansburg. On Wednesday February 25, 1818 the Andrews family left Stillwater, Saratoga Co., NY and arrived at their new home on Wednesday, March 4, 1818. They lived on this place until 1831 during which time seven more children were born to them. In May 1831 they moved to Bronson, Huron Co., OH, where they bought a farm on which they resided until the summer of 1834 when cholera became prevalent in that locality. Jesse and Betsy were attacked by the fatal disease of which they died.
