Mrs. Nelson was born in Guild on Sept. 8, 1940, the daughter of Bert M. and Ida L. (Channell) Eddy.
She married Ronald B. Nelson on July 4, 1981.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald B. Nelson of Claremont, a son, Malcom S. Stevens of Rochester, NH; two step-children, Bradley A. Nelson of Claremont and Kimberly A. Geldart of Charlestown, NH; two grandchildren, Daniel Stevens and Victoria Stevens; one sister, Grace E. Campoli of Sunrise, FL; four brothers, Bert M. Eddy and Allen L. Eddy, both of Charlestown, NH; Charles H. Eddy of Manchester, VT; and Marlin A. Eddy of Newport, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her parents; two sisters, Carol J. Pellerin and Linda Willey; and one brother, Michael B. Eddy.
Janice worked for plastic and shoe shops for many years and retired from Tambrands in 1995 after 26 years of service.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and served as a eucharistic minister for seven years. She loved working in her flower garden, cooking on the holidays and spending time with her husband their dog, Max. She also enjoyed all the time spent with her family and friends and the many wonderful times they shared together.
