"David Anderson, aged forty-four years, died at his home on Brazos street at 11 o'clock as a result of an attack of pneumonia. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 5 o'clock conducted by Rev. E. C. Moore and internment was at Greenleaf cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was well known in Brownwood, where he had spent the most of his life. He was a devout member of the Christian church. At the time of his death he was a rural mail carrier, which position he had held for many years. He leaves a wife and four children."
He was married to Willie Mae Brumley. He was the father to Teddie Lee Anderson, Alvin David Anderson, Berl Jinks Anderson and Lola Mae Anderson. Twins Jennie and John Anderson preceded their in death and are buried at Staley Cemetery with David's parents, James Noble Anderson and Emily Jane Denson Anderson.
