Norm began a successful real estate career in 1970, becoming a member of the Newport Harbor Board of Realtors. He retired in 1995. Norm was well-known for his exceptional integrity - both personally and in business - and he enjoyed building long-lasting relationships which came naturally to him. He enjoyed the beach and sports- especially tennis, bike riding, and lawn bowling. He had many hobbies, but he enjoyed spending time with his family the most whether it involved an outdoor excursion at the park, the beach, or his backyard. He loved their company. Norm was generous, kind, loving and touched everyone he met.
Norm passed away peacefully on June 21 with his family by his side. Norm is survived by his wife of 57 years, son, daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family. He will be loved and greatly missed. Memorial services were held at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary in Corona del Mar on June 29, 2012.
