Emma was born February 27, 1919 in Gilman, Montana to George T. Foster and Martha (Parker) Foster. Emma married Leo Breidenbach on November 30, 1938 in Simms, Montana. They raised their family on a small farm outside of Simms.
Later in life, Leo and Emma moved to Great Falls in 1967. Leo then passed away in 1993.
Emma loved spending time with her family and cherished every moment with her grandchildren. She enjoyed hearing about all their events. Emma also enjoyed knitting, crotcheting, gardening and painting china. She won numerous ribbons for her china painting. Emma continued to make afghans and dish cloths right up until the end of her life. She loved her "Valley View Coffee Club."
Emma is survived by daughters Betty (Dick) Wilsey of Mansfield, WA and Gyda (Jerry) Hudson of Inola, OK; Paul (Alice) Breidenbach of Lewistown, MT; daughter-in-law Maxine Breidenbach of Miles City, MT; sisters Mildred Hicks of Wolf Creek, MT, Opal Smith of Missoula, MT and Helen (Fransk) Morgan of Augusta, MT; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Emma is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Leo; son Leo C. "Sonny" Breidenbach; brother Frank; sisters Minnie and Martha.
Final resting place is Hillcrest Lawn Mausoleum.
