This source indicates Dabney Anderson died in 1732 in Caroline County, VA. James Trice, his administrator (Caroline County., VA, Order Book). However, further review shows that "There are other documents of interest tot he Anderson family in this case, ie 1735 appraisal of Dabney Anderson's estate; and receipt dated 25 Feb 1736 "received of James Trice" Negroe man George as legacy from Dabney Anderson to Godney Trice and wife Judy Trice and to John Ashburn and Sarah Ashburn one Negroe woman Phillis and her increase "legacy given us by our brother Dabney Anderson."
This may provide proof that the correct death year is 1735.
