The News-Herald, Saturday, Apr 16 1983:
Forrest A. " Forrie" Adams, 63, of Harrisville RD 1, a resident there the past 40 years, died in the Franklin Hospital at 4:15 a.m. Friday following an extended illness. He was admitted to the hospital Sunday. Born in Irwin Township July 14, 1919, he was a son of George E . and Lettie Cathers Adams.

He attended Clintonville schools.

He was married to the former Louise Paden Aug. 3, 1943.

He worked in road construction and the oil fields all his life, his last two years of work with Kirila Construction Co. of Brookville where he was a foreman. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Clintonville, and Franklin Lodge 63, Loyal Order of Moose.

He is survived by his wife, four children, Mrs. William (Anabell L.) Yard of Franklin RD 4; Donald A. Adams of Harrisville RD 2; Bonita L. McElhinney of Woodbridge, VA, and Joseph A. Adams of Harrisville RD 1; three sisters, Mrs. Bill (Irene W .) Ivell of Grove City; Mrs. Earl (Lucille) Clayton of Jackson Center and Mrs. Leo (Claribel) Pratt of Richland Center, WI; three brothers, Donald A. Adams of Butler; Ernest D., Oil City, and Lee Adams of New York, and eight grandchildren. Two brothers, Stanley E. and Eugene C. Adams, are deceased.

Services will be at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Hone, Clintonville, with the Rev. Jaime Miller of the Galloway United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
