Mrs. Jane Williams Ammons was born on January 10, 1881, in Holmes County, Mississippi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Williams. To this union, four children were born. Three preceded Mrs. Ammons in death.

She was married to Mr. Isiah Brown. To this union, one daughter was born. In 1931, she married Mr. Moses Ammons, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Ammons joined the Asia Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and remained faithful unto death.

Her survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Georgia Smith and a son-in-law, Mr. Cleveland Smith, both of Cruger, Mississippi; four grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and twenty great, great-grandchildren, all of Peoria, Illinois; and one nephew, Mr. Hubert Williams of Cruger, Mississippi.

Active Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased. Honorary Pallbearers were Robert R. Smith, Archie L. Moses, and I. H. Montgomery, Jr., Flower Bearers were the ladies of Asia Baptist Church
