Daughter of Clayton Frenyea and Myrtle Fifield Frenyea. Wife of Calvin G Collins.

PLATTSBURGH Mrs. Rose M. "Nana" Collins, 58, of Cross Road, Plattsburgh, passed away Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on May 20, 1948, the daughter of Clayton and Myrtle (Fifield) Frenyea.

Rose had been employed for the Town of Plattsburgh. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family.

Rose was predeceased by her parents, Clayton and Myrtle Frenyea; a sister, Linda Tripp; a brother, Richard Frenyea; two brothers-in-law, Georgie Collins, Norman Jabaut; and a grandchild, Samantha Whitney.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin G. Collins of Plattsburgh; her children, Tonya Whitney and her husband Wade of Plattsburgh, Callene Criss and her husband Michael of Plattsburgh, Calvin A. Collins and his wife Tammy of Plattsburgh; her siblings, Mitzi Seymour and her husband Leonard of Morrisonville, "Sister" Agnew and her husband Elmer of Morrisonville, Beverly Devins and her husband "Cowboy" of Saranac, Bunny Demshack of Pennsylvania, "Bud" Frenyea of Morrisonville; five grandchildren, Jayson Criss and his girlfriend Jessica Spoor, Sarah Criss, Bonn Nordin, Emilee Collins and Faith Whitney; a brother-in-law, "Jr." Collins and his wife Doris of Morrisonville, a sister-in-law, Grace Jabaut of Plattsburgh, a brother-in-law, Joe Tripp of Plattsburgh, a sister-in-law, Lucille Frenyea of Peru; several nieces and nephews.

At Rose's request, there will be no calling hours or services.

Friends wishing may make donations to the charity of one's choice.

Arrangements are by the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
