She married first George M. Fairchild, 1861-1900, by whom she had two children, Edgar and James P., before his early death in 1900. In 1903 she married Samuel Celic "Coon" Alexander, 1859-1954. The two children were given the second husband's name and reared as Alexanders. America Wilson Alexander lived to be 95 years old.
