Funeral services for Paul E. Bajner, 69, of Theodosia, were held at 9 p.m.,. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Isabella with Rev. David Burge officiating and burial in Lutie Cemetery.
Mr. Bajner died Feb. 20, 1993, at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield. He was born July 2, 1923, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Frank and Theresa (Miller) Bajner. On Dec. 17, 1983, he was married to Janet M. LeBaube in Summit, Ill.
He was a retired police officer and a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Bajner is survived by his wife, two daughters, Karen Rehoe of Le Grande, Ill. and Paula Belch of Gladwind, Pa.; one son, Mark Bajner of Chicago, Ill.,one step-daughter, Renee Hill of St. Louis, one step-son, Richard Bartholome of St. Louis; his brother, Emil Bajner of Chicago and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers were Jack Rittenbach, Ben Cook, Bret Cook, Bill Cook, Boyd Garrison and Don Myers.
