He was a former salesman for Pioneer Seed Company. He was a resident of Wrightstown township for over 65 years. He was the husband of the late Betty L (Messner) Atkinson. And was survived by his wife Eleanor (Rhodes) Atkinson, and 6 of his 8 step children. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy (Atkinson) Mace and his brother Paul R Atkinson, 5 nieces and one nephew. burial was on May 11 2013.
