My research shows that Thomas was likely moved to the Forest Cemetery at some point and buried with his wife Myrtle Ann (Taylor) Hunking.
His name is clearly on the headstone in Forest Cemetery by his wife, but his funeral home papers say he was buried in Kootenai. There have been others buried in this cemetery during the Great Depression, which is the time period in which he died, and were later moved when their families could afford a burial usually in a family plot.
