Mr. Abbott is survived by his wife of 69 years, Elizabeth Abbott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junius Decastor Theodore Abbott and Dessie Mae Shasteen Abbott; son, Ronnie Abbott; grandson, David Abbott.
