Frank Ball died at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. James M. ball in Springfield at 4:30 last Saturday of consumption. About two years ago he had the measles from which date his last illness can be traced. Deceased was born at Galesburg, Illinois, 11 Sept. 1868, and two years later with his parents came to Nebraska. In 1893 he was united in marriage to Miss Calista Fisher, by whom he had two children. Who with his wife survive him? Frank was the first of a family of eleven children. Nine boys and two girls to meet the inevitable.
The funeral services were conducted at the house Monday afternoon by Reverend Peters and burial was made in the Ball Cemetery, Springfield.
Frank ran a boarding house and was also a farmer.
Buried at the Ball Cemetery, Springfield, Nebraska in a unmarked grave with bricks around it.
