Douglas K., a 16 year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department, passed away suddenly on October 18, 2016, at the age of 41. Beloved husband of Dawn M. (nee Ganzel); devoted father of Madison and Abigail; loving son of Gail and the late George Bamberger; dear brother of Sande Listman (Joseph), George (Megan) and the late Jeannie Bamberger. Also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Kathleen and Joseph Weissinger; his brother-in-law, Gary Ganzel and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Doug's Life Celebration Monday Eve. from 6 to 9 P.M. at JOHN F. GIVNISH OF ACADEMY RD., 10975 Academy Rd., Phila. and on Tuesday from 9 to 10 A.M. at Church of St. Anne, 2328 E. Lehigh Ave., Phila., followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Doug's memory to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org would be appreciated.
