Grady E. "Red" Barron of 309 W. Rainey St.,73 year old retired Lone Star Gas Company employee, died Sunday at a Sherman Hospital.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Waldo Funeral Chapel. A. B. Gripp of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall will officiate and burial will be in Akers Cemetery.
Mr. Barron was born in Howe, a son of Virgil and Bessie Smith Barron, and married Obera Richardson on Sept. 3, 1932, in Durant, Oklahoma.
He was a farmer in his early years and later worked as a salesman for Lone Star Gas Company until his retirement in 1976.
Surviving are his wife; brothers, Leon Barron of Gainesville and Fred King, Jr. of Houston; and a sister Ruby Stewart of Sherman.
