RAINELLE - The funeral for
Waymon Franklin Adkins, 77, of
Danese, Fayette County, will be
Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Wallace
and Wallace Funeral Home
here with the Rev. Georgia Keller
and the Rev. Buron Greer in
charge. Burial will be in Wallace
Memorial Cemetery at
Clintonville.
Mr. Adkins, a retired miner,
died Wednesday at the Beckley
Veterans Hospital. A resident of
Danese for eight years, he was
a member of the Holiness
Church at Danese.
Survivo s : wife, Virgie;
daughters, Mrs. Gertie Goddard
and Mrs. Bertha Vealy of
Danese; sons, James of Danese,
Curtis of Meadow Bridge;
adopted daughters, Miss Rita
Mae Adkins and Miss Sandra
Kay Adkins at home; sisters,
Mrs. Ella Ennis of Fayetteville,
Mrs. Julia Hughart of Stanaford;
brothers, Roosevelt of Red
Spring, George of Crickmer.
