Bruce P. Bannon
Loving husband and father
Bruce P. Bannon, age 56, passed away suddenly on May 6, 2008, as a result of a tragic accident.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and then moved to the Levittown area. He was a graduate of Delhaas High School and later attended the Community College of Bucks. Bruce apprenticed with Local 88 and was a current union man. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing and spending his afternoons with his wife Susan on his Harley, riding through the scenic areas, especially River Road. He loved his wife and kids more than anything else, and was a "true family man."
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Jeanette Bannon; brothers Harold, Jr. and Michael, and a nephew Jason.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 33 years, Susan (nee Baier); his children Timothy and his wife Carrie, and Michelle, Kimberly and Stephen Bannon. He is also survived by his brothers Thomas, Robert and Joseph Bannon; sisters Dianne Miller, Debbie Schardinger, Denise Bannon and Patricia Cooney; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial gathering on Saturday, 12 noon, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown, followed by a period of remembrance to begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment is private.
