Joseph P. Austin, 76, of Radford, died Saterday, Aug. 6 1994 at Radford Community Hospital. He was an employee in the maintenances department of Harvey Chevrolet in Radford. Surviving are his wife.Mrs. Mabel Austin of Radford; one daughter, Judy James of Radford; three sons, George Austin of luray, John Wayne Austin of Manassas and Joseph P. Austin Jr. of Dublin;
two brothers, John Austin of Radford and George Austin of Floyd;
one sister Annie Taylor of Wyoming;
16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the East Radford Church of God with the Rev. Sam Franklin officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at DeVilbiss Funeral Home , Radford. DeVilbiss Funeral Home Radford, is in charge of arrangements.
