Brian M. Crane
West Point – Brian Maurice Crane died December 30, 2010 at the Davis Medical Center. He was born May 7, 1970 in Panorama City, CA to Fred Lamar and Joanne Elizabeth Kathcart Crane. He was a graduate of Ben Lomond High School.
Brian married Jennifer Evans in 1991, they later divorced. He married Tammy Hadley in 2001 and later divorced. Brian and Margo Lynn Glover were married June 4, 2008 in Ogden, Utah.
Brian served his country in the U.S. Army for almost 6 years, achieving the rank of Sgt. (E-5). He served in Iraq and was stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany. He was a Gunner on tanks for Steel Tiger 1/77th Armor Division, 1st Infantry Division "Big Red 1", and Cavalry member.
He enjoyed kickboxing, boxing, martial arts, motorcycles, all the outdoors from the mountains to the beach and he loved Las Vegas.
Brian is survived by his wife Margo; children, Whitney SeAira Crane, Melissa Nicole Crane, Brian Alexander Crane, Bailey Marie Crane all of Ogden and son Trevor Maurice Crane of West Haven; two step-sons, Conner Kubitz and Collin Jade Glover of West Point; and 1 granddaughter Taci Jade Crane. Also survived by his parents Fred and Joanne Crane; two brothers and a sister, Freddy (Karen) Crane, Christopher Robert (Rikki) Crane and Cynthia (Phil) Delucia and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center, SLC, UT and Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC.
