KINGSPORT- Dorothy "Christine" Albright, 55, passed away on Friday (October 23, 2009) at the Bristol Wellmont Hospice House following an extended illness.
She had lived most of her life in Hawkins county, and attended Barton's Chapel church. She loved collecting Indian dolls and dreamcatchers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Gentry and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her mother, Marie Gentry Moreland, sister, Christian "Shirley) Sams and her husband, Greg Sams, Sr., step brother, Tim Taylor, other brothers and sisters, six nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home of Church Hill.
Services will be conducted Sunday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday at Morning Star cemetery.
Pallbearers will beGreg Sams, Sr., Greg Sams, Jr., and Joel Sams.
Honorary beares will be Jeff and Jerry Bradshaw.
