N. J., on Wednesday after a brief Illness of pneumonia, In his 55th year.
He was born in Peekskill, the son of John Acker and was educated here.
He was employed at the Wm. M. Crane
Company's foundry and went to Greenville
when the foundry was moved there. He la survived by his wife, who was Miss Susie .Ridgeway, one son, Perley M. Acker, and two brothers,
George. and Charles. The remains were brought to Peekskill and the funeral
services will be held from 758
Elm street Sunday afternoon, at 3.30
o'clock. The interment will be at Hillside.
