She was a former member of First Baptist Church of Cheshire and a member of Order of Eastern Star, where she served as a past matron of the Stafford Chapter in Cheshire and as a past deputy grand matron of the Grand Chapter of Massachusetts. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, playing bingo, camping and country western dancing. She and her husband, Donald H. Bush, were married July 10, 1965, in Clarksburg.
Besides her husband and son, she leaves two brothers, Ronald Kupiec of Pittsfield and Benjamin Kupiec of Adams, two sisters, Nancy Levesque of Adams and Bernadette Kupiec of Lithia, Fla., and two grandsons.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Elaine M. Bush, 58, a longtime Adams resident who died July 26, 2003, will be conducted Wednesday at 10 at First Baptist Church of Cheshire by the Rev. Linda Shaw, pastor, and the Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel in Lanesboro. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 5 to 8 at DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, North State Road. Mrs. Bush leaves two gransons, Andrew H. Bush and Adam J. Bush, both of Rowley; her daughter-in-law, Wendy L. Bush, also of Rowley, and two sisters-in-law, Doris Kupiec of Pittsfield and Doris Kupiec of Adams. She was predeceased by two brothers.
