She was born in Bethel Ridge, Ky, daughter of the late Samuel and Alma Wesley Jones. She was a retired school teacher for the Pulaski County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Adams, whom she married in 1943 in Newport, KY and who died on November 13, 1999, She is survived by two sons, Neil & (Renee) Adams of Paducah, Kentucky and Halbert & (Sandy) Adams of Katy, Texas, four sisters, Jessie Dungan of Eubank, Libby Padgett of Burnside, Betty Smallwood of Waynesburg and Alice Floyd of Eubank, four grandchildren, Krista, Shawnda, Kevin and Tamara.
