John Furman Bryson, 78, widower of Vera E. Thrift Bryson, of 129 Sherland Drive, died Feb. 22, 2003.

Survivors: Daughters, Beverly Donald, Mary Robbins, Martha Fowler and Lynda Loftis; a son, William R. Bryson; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased: Parents, William J. and Linda J. Cothan Bryson.

He was a veteran.

Visitation: 6 to 8, tonight, at Eggers Funeral Home. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the chapel. Burial: Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

Family: 113 Padgett Court, Wellford.
