Martha Ann Boyd, 71, of Maud, Texas, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Boyd was born Feb. 13, 1942, in Greenwood, Miss. She was retired from the retail grocery business, a homemaker and a member of Friendship Sunday School Class, Maud, and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Howard L. Boyd; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Laura Boyd of Fort Bragg, N.C.; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Tony McElroy of Maud, Texas; two special friends, Janie Beaird of Wake Village, Texas, and Sue Parr of Maud; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Maud, with the Rev. Mark Ritchey officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
