Alfred's memorial was added to Findagrave as the result of a lucky fluke. If he is family to you, or you have a deep interest in this person, please let me know and I will gladly transfer to you. In February of 2013, I found a large online collection of photographs taken at Mount Moriah, back when the cemetery was in terrible disarray and largely impassible. Most pictures featured overgrown grass, shrubs and vines, making some stones hard to read in their entirety. Because at that time the office had closed and records were unobtainable, burials there were hard to locate, and knowing the photos had huge value, I wrote to the photographer to request permission to re-use the pictures on Findagrave, or, alternatively, they could join and add the photos. That person never responded to me (and in the coming years would remove the photos). As a result, I transcribed a few hundred Mount Moriah gravestone photos so the data on them would not be lost. Now, as Mount Moriah is being rehabbed, new photos and data are trickling in, bringing these lost burials back to memory. I have no personal connection to these memorials, other than wanting to see them be preserved.
