Services for Darlene Joy Barnett, 79, of Tyler were Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Hamilton officiating. Burial was in Pine Springs Cemetery under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barnett passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, in Tyler.
She was born July 14, 1932, in Meade, Kansas, to the late Abe and Aganetha "Nita" (Witt) Toews. She was a member of Pine Springs Baptist Church, a retired registered nurse and had lived in Tyler for 50 years.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Barnett, and a daughter, Mary Beth Lemen.
