He left his wife, Elizabeth M. (Trudeau) Gray; a daughter, Gail O'Brien of Peoria; a sister, Shirley A. Bennett of New Braintree, Mass.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. A daughter and a brother predeceased him.
He was born in Ware, son of Will J. and Stella M. (Pepper) Gray, and graduated from Hardwick (Mass.) High School. He attended the Progressive School of Photography in New Haven, Conn., and Clark University in Worcester. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
Mr. Gray worked at the HAN Division of Pfizer Inc., retiring in 1989. He previously worked for Honegger Farms.
He was a member of Indian Creek Country Club and John Joda American Legion Post 54. He was a past master of Bay Path Lodge in West Brookfield, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was affiliated with Tarbolton Masonic Lodge 351.
Interment was held on Saturday, Sept. 22, in Gray Family Cemetery in New Braintree. A Masonic burial service was conducted by Bay Path Lodge of Masons from West Brookfield.
