FUNERAL OF SHELTON ALLEN
The funeral of Shelton Allen was held Monday, September 29, at 1 p.m., from the funeral parlors of Wm. N. Wieboldt, San Francisco. The Burial service was conducted by the Rev. Charles Woessner, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Chapel. Internment was in Cypress Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Allen had been ill for many years. He passed away September 26. He was the father of ten children, eight of whom are living, three now living in San Francisco, Mrs. J. A. Williams, Mrs. S. Powell and William Allen; Mrs. Sarah Kanode and Mrs. Nellie Kanode of Nunn, Colorado; Mrs. Rowena Merklin of Benkelman, Nebraska; Mr. Henry Allen of South Carolina and Jack Allen of South Dakota.
