George Benton Beeney was the only known son of Samuel Beeney and Eva F. McLaughlin.

In about 1911, George had made his way to Oregon, where he met and married Gladys M. Cook (1884-1957), the daughter of Ola Silas Cook (1863-1916) and Rosa M. Niles (1872-1948). George and Gladys had one child, Maxine, before their seperation (in 1912) and eventual divorce (in 1915).

Following their separation, Maxine was put up for adoption, Gladys eventually remarried, and George returned to Ohio. On the 15 December 1937, George married Josa May Murphy (1887-1962). However, it appears this marriage ended in divorce. He died in Newark, Licking Co., Ohio on April 03, 1970.
