Alan F. Busse, 54 of rural Decatur passed away at his residence on May 17, 2006. He was the son of Charles & Stella (Holle) Busse. Alan was born in Adams County. He married Maureen (Howell) on October 30, 1996, she survives. He was the father to a daughter Abbie Cornett of Ossian and a son Brandon Busse who is deceased. He also has 2 step daughters Keilya & Kora Lutes both of Decatur and a sister Renee Bird of St. Joe, IN and 2 grandsons. Alan was a laborer at G.E. in Ft. Wayne. He was a member of the American Legion post 43 and was avid in horseshoes and bowling. He was in the 101st Airborn/Special Forces earning a purple heart in the Vietnam Conflict, was a Black Beret and also served in the Army Reserve.
