Jade E. Amweg, 26, Decatur, died on Saturday in a traffic accident in Van Wert County, Ohio.
She was born on May 30, 1979, in Decatur to Rex H. and Pamela L. Arnold Hamilton; he lives in Decatur and she lives in Monroe.
She married Kristian D. Amweg on January 2, 2003; he also died in Saturday's accident.
She was employed at Thunderbird Products in Decatur.
Other survivors are two sons, Keaton M. Ostermeyer and Jaxson K. Amweg, both at home; a daughter, Avery A. Amweg, at home; a brother, Derek E. Hamilton of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Max (Lacy A.) Feasel and Steffie L. Hamilton, both of Decatur; three half-brothers, Wyatt J. Hamilton and Toby and Tukker Miller, all of Decatur; her paternal grandmother, Bonnie Hamilton of Decatur; and her maternal grandparents, Harold and Pat Arnold of Monroe.
Her paternal grandfather is deceased.
A joint funeral service for Mr. and Mrs. Amweg will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (Ohio time) in Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery at Ohio City.
Visiting hours are until 5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. (Ohio time) today in the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are donations on behalf of their three children.
