Mathilda "Tillie" Anna Alexander Cotton, 73, died Tuesday at the Dixon Oaks Health Care Center, Dixon. She was born Dec. 22, 1917 at St. Anthony, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Rehagen Otto. She was married Nov. 7, 1937, at Dixon to Louie Alexander, who preceded her in death. She then married Tolman Cotton, who died Oct. 2, 1988.

She was a sales clerk for Duncan's 5 & 10, Dixon. She was also a dispatcher for the Dixon Ambulance and Police Department. She belonged to the Burnett Christian Church near Dixon.

Survivors include one stepson, Arvil Cotton, Crocker; two step-daughters, Freda Bowman, Dixon, and Cleta Pinnell, Ellsinore; one brother, Albert Otto, Jefferson City; and one grandson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Chapel, Dixon. The Rev. Earl Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the Dixon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today and from 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Diabetes Fund.
