Excerpt -- Alvy Clyde Auman, 65, of Terra Alta, died July 1 in Akron, Oh., where he had been visiting his son, Joseph. He was a son of the late George M. and Minerva DeWitt Auman. A lifelong resident of Terra Alta. He was a veteran of WW I and a farmer.

Services were held last Saturday from the Fike-Watson Funeral Home with burial in the Terra Alta Cemetery.

Surviving in addition to the son are three brothers, Loy E of Cumberland, Md., John W. of Oakland and Parley B. of Akron; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Menefee of Hibbs, Pa. and Mrs. Lois Gurana of Detroit, and two grandchildren.
